简介
这首音乐的风格来自加勒比地区特立尼达和多巴哥的卡吕普索风格和牙买加的雷鬼风格，基于1971年歌曲The Beautiful Briny。音乐获得了当年的奥斯卡最佳原创音乐奖，1991年视觉媒体格莱美音乐奖。
音乐表现了螃蟹塞巴斯丁恳求小美人鱼爱丽儿留在海底，不要去岸上会见埃里克的情节，不过在音乐完成前，爱丽儿就和小比目鱼溜走了。
音乐还出现在《小美人鱼》TV剧集版，卡普空游戏《小美人鱼》，SE游戏《王国之心》等作品中。
